Family Midwest Road Trip With Kids Text Log- Day 4

In case you didn’t know, I’m texting (at night, in my hotel room, not while driving!) my way across the Midwest while on a road trip with kids. My kids. Three of them. In case you are wondering, I did this voluntarily.

Trip Text Log Day 4 Road Trip With Kids

I know all the words to Teenage Dream by Katy Perry cuz we’ve listened to it 140 times in the car. I’d like to blame the children, but it was actually me who kept re-playing it. We threw actual snowballs on scenic HW212 before it literally dead ended in Wyoming b/c of impassable snow. Snow! In the middle of summer. This Oklahoma girl isn’t accustomed to snow in the summer, nor are her offspring. We took an alternate route to Yellowstone┬áNational Park. The girls thoroughly disgusted by old-fashioned hole in the dirt out houses in park. Note to self to teach offspring helpful forest potty skills before next road trip with kids. The wrong slant can go drastically wrong. Underwear placement is imperative for such activities! Just sayin’. Still touring Montana. We keep peeking into WY but head to Idaho tomorrow. Weather doesn’t look promising for our road trip with kids adventure.
